PostgreSQL - A Discussion for SQL Server Professionals

What is it like inside the world's most advanced open source database, when compared to one of the best we already know? Be a part of a discussion on PostgreSQL architecture and how different it is from SQL Server and other advanced database systems out there. What are the basic advantages of having a PostgreSQL based database environment? Or, what limitations should be considered before deciding to base your environment on PostgreSQL? We will close with a review and critical evaluation of current database market trends.

PlentyOfFish Media ULC has generously sponsored both the location and pizza for this event, feel free to click on the link to view current opportunities at this fast-paced organization with one of the largest deployments of SQL Server in North America.  Please grab a ticket to let us know you are coming and visit us at vancouver.pass.org for more info.
